Consensus of those posting shows a clear majority for keeping Hog Hill in the calendar, so that's what I'll try to do, but to have it somewhere mid-season.

I looked back at previous turnouts.  2008 was very healthy (but few of us knew what it was like...), but 2009 also had a pretty good showing.

Hi Adrian, since I am a racing virgin--------well not exactly that!!-----but definitely have not competitively pedalled a bike around Hog Hill, or indeed any other track, though I intend to be doing so next year while wondering about what colour my face will become by the time I make the  finishing  first run up the hill!Dead Anyway , one way or another I shall need a racing number to adorn my machine, are you able to issue that now so that I can apply it when I  get around to painting,
Regards,         Crossie

Which rule in particular Neil? Crimes appear to be:
1) Posting a humourous complaint that messages are being hacked and changed by the forum software.
2) Suggesting that software that hacks users messages is 'dodgy'.
3) Suggesting that it takes the mental age of a 5-year-old to snigger and take offense at place names that sound a bit rude.
4) Using the biologically-correct substitution for the placename that the forum software hacked.
5) Replying to a threatening bully.

Rob

Enough.

Children, including mine, read this board, and avoiding obscenity is specifically stated in the rules. I would count adults snickering about software designed to prevent rude place names as not appropriate, and not what the forum is for. You have also been rude, accusing Neil of being a bully as well as telling him to 'grow up'.

This topic is now closed. By me, not Neil

Please be nice, or don't play. This is a forum about cycling.
