This being a staffed sports centre, I'd expect there to be qualified first aiders on site as a matter of course.

Thanks Adrian.
Would anybody like to volunteer to organise some racing prior to the AGM on Sunday (and thereby claim the power to decide race direction, duration etc)?

I'd rather someone else volunteered, but if there's no takers I'll do it and we'll definitely go clockwise.. Evil Smile

I am supposed to be coming down, and hopefully testing the new fairing shape out! (if its finished by then)

so would rather someone else did do it, but otherwise I'll co-organate with someone else.

However if everyone is wimping out 'cos rain might be  forecast, it's not!
maybe we'll only have enough people for one race anyway...

I'm also first-aider, so will remember to throw my small kit in.

Also funny reading about racing fires up the adrenal gland - i might come and race in my commuter - if i can get keys for big car so i can bring quest down on trailer, roof rack was ok - but!!

If someone can tell me what I need to organisate then I'l do it.
It'll be my first time doing it so everyone will be nice to me...

Martin,
as this event will be the first that I have attended and hope to take part in next season's activities once this year's projects are ready to roll, I feel that I too should learn how the seamless organisating is carried out, so if you would like an apprenticeBig smile I'd be keen to assist you in any way,

Sorry folks, I should have posted a note here earlier. We the Tweds have volunteed to organisate Hog Hill ....however if you feel the burning need to do it Anne for one will not be disappointed
If you are keen Martyn, I'd suggest a joint effort as more hands make lighter work
However, we do need to know who has what equipment and when they will be at the track.....and if the appropriate batteries have been charged?
I have not been to HH ....is there an indoor part that we can do the sign-on stuff (mains etc)?
What are the usual numbers at HH?....I am aware of the restricted timing, so we will need to be prompt and set the durations appropriately.
Never believe an atom they make up everything.

There is a timing booth at the top of the hill - It is indoors and as far as I remember has power - so no problems there.  If you are using the camera then be prepared for it to be windy and it will need to be tied down in some way.
I think gNick has the stuff, unless I am mistaken.

the turn out isn't usually that bad, about the same as darley moor but not as many as Hillingdon.

Hope your racing Twed, there's a small slope in the track, you'll love it :P

It is indeed my intention to race.....I'll be bringing the YeloDonkey, still with Brands Hatch scars. Lets hope I don't add to them
I've been looking at the track layout ....WOW!.....multiple choice!!
I guess people would like to finish a reasonable time before the AGM....so the format should be short (which I assume is a good thing as I hear the course is not for riders who shy away from effort)
Never believe an atom they make up everything.
