gNick, do you have car space for a passenger? My term ends on friday and I'd love to see some racing, I'm happy to act as a general dogsbody/lap timer/data entry slave or whatever. I'm assuming getting there requires an obscenely early start...

I'm staying in durham for most of my 'holidays' to do some work but during my free time I'm happy to lend my engineringness (I happen to be rather good at making things as well, I'm happiest when covered in grease, swarf and suds! I'm also looking at getting the CFD bit of solidworks working properly so it could be good for evaluating HPV aerodynamics) to the construction of curious contraptions.

Newport ran well,  Fiona, Pete and Kevin to be thanked for the organising. Kevin particularly for managing to produce printed results on the day! The wonders of modern technology.

Yep,

Thanks for all the efforts. And thanks to the track coach chappie of course...

And Well Done to young Hannah for getting up and racing after falling off...

What a fantastic facility the Newport Velodrome is!!

I can't think of any better place to scare yourself silly...

I'll be having nightmares for years about Howard on his trike above me on that banking. I sort of remember all that centrifugal stuff from the Physics lessons but there was this nagging doubt...

Castle Coombe here we come....

Alan.
