Jeff: Can you see a button like this at the top of the message box?



If so clicking that should give you the buttons that allow you to insert links etc...

If not let us know and we'll see if we can work out what's going on...

sorry alan I can't find the symbol on the ordinary message box it only shows up in the quick message box.

That button switches you from the quick message box to the full/ordinary one...
In the full message box, clicking the "insert hyperlink" button should allow you to paste in the text you want to display and the web address you are trying to link to...

If you're happy not to display alternative text, just select the whole of the link in your message, click on the 'Insert Hyperlink' button (globe with chainlink) and click okay in the dialog box. Your link will go blue (or purple if you've followed it, or some other colour if you've changed the standard settings). Simples.
