A short time trial would be a good idea. For timing we could start people off on the minute every minute. Start/finish being on the long back straight - start on inside finish on outside and then off track at the normal start/finish point.

Hows that for an idea?

Need to make sure they are straight off the track which might be a problem with the fully faired - mind I'm not going so it doesn't bother me...

Sounds like a time trial is what people want so I guess we should try to get it done...

What about if eveybody who is finishing sticks to the right-hand side of the track and those starting take off from the left?

I like the idea of using the long straight to get started...

As we've all moved round there anyway we'd have the opportunity to do some drag races afterwards if anybody was interested...

gNick has sent me some entry forms for the second Castle Coombe race in August.

I'll have them with me tomorrow if anybody wants one...
