Hi Bob, yes, of course.

Probably this link will answer some of your questions: http://www.bhpc.org.uk/Constructors/Bird/t7-build.aspx (Note to Andrew S. - the constructor's corner is not easy to find on the website)

The load case for the front fork is at maximum braking (plus a SF) - I have a bending moment diagram somewhere...

Rear dropouts are just standard front dropouts, yes, brazed by my mate Charlie.

Geoff
thankyou for replying so quickly - the link took me to the article I had already read and which prompted my question on the driveline and the front suspension.
So load case and rear brazed dropout sorted - thankyou.
So driveline and front suspension, I wondered if you might have a photo of both that might help my understanding?
Incidentally great to find a recumbent builder. I went to the Ashbourne meeting and was disappointed to find most of the guys were riders not builders.

now I think about it  I am sure I have seen the T7 in the flesh! I went to the Ashbourne races. There was a small wheeled machine clad in a brown aerodynamic shell wizzing around the track. It was front wheel drive with a structure exactly in line with the T7.The characteristic rising and falling box section at the front pivot. Retracting stabalisers.

That's the Beano, as ridden by Steve Slade to more race and championship wins than there are odd socks in the average laundrette.
