Sign-on for BHPC members starts at 8:00am, Thursday 26th September and one week later for non-members (Thursday 3rd October).

The races on Saturday will be followed by the 2024 Annual General Meeting. It's not yet decided if  the presentation of
PRIZES
will be on Saturday or Sunday - possibly both.

More exciting even than PRIZES is the presence of
HOT SNACKS
at Darley Moor. We have been promised that the Chequered Flag Cafe will be open 9:00am-4:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday for the provision of, well, provisions.

The Cafe has its own Facebook page which may have more information closer to the event:

Yes, camping is available Friday and Saturday nights at £7 per night.
You’ll need to book via the online shop (closes tomorrow morning along with race entries)
There is a Travelodge in Ashbourne but it’s crazy expensive.

Still, at least the BBC has revised its weather forecast for the weekend.  No more 17,000 mph winds.

The live results appear to have been blank due to an incomplete upload preventing them from rendering.  Likely due to the crappy cellular reception on site.

Many thanks Kim!
That looked like a good first effort in Notso!

In other news, I managed not to crash the Notso.  Natalya even has video of me not crashing the Notso in her direction, before regaining control just as she performed the photographic Larrington Manoeuvre.

Then the lid wouldn't come off, which made me glad I hadn't crashed.  Although Jemma pointed out that crashing might have un-jammed it.

I have bruises on my shoulders, and my lower back and knees hate me.

I need to get someone to ask Joe Parker to send us the video he has of Kim's very first attempt at riding the NotSo as he was videoing the original lidless start. I only have the lidded start and end lap + Kim being stuck inside it for a while.

That's a great video, Alan, thanks so much for editing your footage so nicely and sharing!

You were going well this weekend yourself, cold night on Saturday notwithstanding!
