I rode my M5 Low Racer at Betteshanger yesterday. It's a really nice track with some fast sections, but the tarmac was littered with small stones, particularly at the mountain bike trail crossings. Better bring a broom on race day!

Parking charges mention per day and also per visit so I’m not entirely clear whether those camping will be charged £5 or £10 when they pay for parking when they leave on Sunday morning.
Also worth noting that if you pop out for supplies and drive back in you will be charged again!

Did anyone leave a BHPC, short sleeved, full zip top at the Bettesanger track today? Let me know if it is yours. Heather

My race on Saturday summed up in 4 seconds. *Naughty word... turn sound down if there are children present.

Everyone had disappeared by turn 3. Then it was just 20 minutes of watching the mirror and trying to keep out of the way. I should have fitted a second mirror on the left!!! LOL

It's quite tricky to predict what lines people are going to take through corners. I seem to building up a mental database of what lines various people take through the corners...

Im new to racing with BHPC - where do people get their BHPC-logo'ed kit from? Cant see it in the online shop, so is it made to order?
btw my first BHPC race at Betteshanger - really enjoyed it! Thanks to organisers etc!

They were made to order a few years ago - we could probably get another batch done but it would need someone willing to sort it out and order/distribute them. I think Lee Wakefield did it last time.

I wasn’t going fast enough to worry about lines. 😂 Just trying not to get in the way and to leave enough room both sides for people to get past safely.
To be honest it’s pretty soul destroying when you’re so far off the pace that you can’t hang on to anyone at the start or even briefly when they come past.

I'd love to have a BHPC top - short or long sleeved (or both). I wonder if there is enough interest in the club to get some more made??

I’m pretty sure there would be enough interest, but it would need someone willing to sort out design, orders and distribution. I think it ended up being a bit of a pain last time which is probably why nobody has done it since.

Nigel, have you seen http://forum.bhpc.org.uk/club-clothing_topic7582.html#69928" rel="nofollow - this ? Not quite "proper" BHPC gear, but perhaps still of interest as the club logo will be on it.

Yes I saw that. I think my preference would be to get a dedicated BHPC top first. Very distinctive with our club colours of red and blue.
