Does anyone have experience and knowledge in setting up / resetting a front Di2 mech on an ICE VTX?

Ice currently unable to resolve (techie off at present) and Shimano workshop manuals dont give answer. Some LBS contacted dont have laid back experience or knowledge of bike electrics.

Alignment seems to be wrong and getting it reset fails to set mech correctly. H E L P P P P….,,,

Thanks in advance to anyone who can make suggestions

I can't help you with how to set it up, but when I had a Di2 road bike I found this website really helpful:

Thanks for responding. As ICE commented, I do have a pretty good understanding of the Di2 already, and have looked through Christian Bales’ web discussion. Not sure it absolutely nails the problem as it is the alignment of the FD which seems not to extend far enough over the largest chainwheel but it is where the Shimano DM suggests it should be.

Maybe when I put the new KMC 11 speed chain on (loads of people including ICE trikers and mechanics have recommended this over the Shimano version) and the rear derailleur is under tension, the “brain” of the system will work out it needs to go further. (I have already looked and understand the limit hex screws in place on the FD).

So it is back to the experimenting I guess.

At least if I restore it to just 11 speeds rather than the full twenty two, I can ride it down to some more knowledgeable LBS mechanics - well better than one in a shop I have patronised for other bikes for a decade who said Di2 was not suitable for recumbents because of their distance between mechs and cable lengths. After I mentioned the trike was the World Champion Design two years running in the World HPV Championships he went a bit quiet. Wont be using him in the future !

I will let you know if I have any success with my solo efforts unless anyone has any more suggestions.
