Well I guess it's not really news to anybody, but the chances of getting any racing in (mass-start events anyway) any time soon are looking pretty slim. Certainly Preston/Knowsley/York are now not going to happen in their usual formats at least, and we need to cross our fingers for Stourport/Shrewsbury.

It may be that when restrictions start to be lifted we will be allowed some gatherings with social distancing in place - so ideas for race formats that might support that would be welcome.

Please keep safe, make the most of your daily exercise on the quiet roads and we will keep you updated as and when information becomes available.

Hope to see you all on the track soon, even if it is at a safe distance (I'm usually far enough behind to not have to worry about it!)  Big smile

Hi All,

We would like to give you an update on the race season and when we expect to go racing again but unfortunately we haven't got a clue!!

With the Government extending the furlough scheme to the end of October they are clearly not expecting a return to normal interactions any time soon and so we can safely say there will be no events this summer.

We're all itching to go racing again, especially those of us that have done pretty much nothing but cycling for the last couple of months(!!) but of course we need to make sure we can keep everyone as safe as possible and we need to comply with current rules on travel and social distancing.

We are certainly not writing the whole season off at this stage, as we remain hopeful that we will be able to get back on track a little later in the year!

Please stay safe and make the most of the sunshine and the now unlimited permitted exercise!!

Hope to see you all soon...
