The 2013 race calendar is now available in the latest issue of LaidBack Cyclist, the BHPC magazine, as well as on the http://www.bhpc.org.uk/1events.aspx" rel="nofollow - Events page of the website in the form of a clickable list and map. The http://www.bhpc.org.uk/Events/MonthView.aspx?pageid=7&mid=31&visdate31=2013-04-01T00:00:00" rel="nofollow - Events Calendar has also been updated with all the BHPC events, BPCC races and other major events of likely interest to HPVers

There are 14 events this year, including two at the Fowlmead International HPV Festival, which is two more than in recent years. The best nine results will count towards the final Championship placings, following the usual 2/3 rule.

In a late change to the advertised programme the race on Sunday 25th August will now be at Hog Hill (Redbridge Cycling Centre) instead of at Gravesend Cyclopark.

Cyclopark are hosting a skateboard/BMX event called the http://www.blitzfestival.co.uk" rel="nofollow - Blitz Urban Sports Festival all over the bank holiday weekend, with onsite music and camping, and it was felt that this would cause too many problems for a BHPC event at the same venue.

Yippee! I was sad to see Redbridge dropped from the calendar. Cyclopark sounded nice though, hopefully next season

Personally I hope we never deal with Cycloparks again after the way they have treated us this year... Many thanks to Andrew for all of his efforts in trying to resolve this and for getting Hog Hill sorted as a replacement...

Good news! Shame about the hassle in having to change venues - but a good result! :-)

In another late change to the advertised programme, the Fowlmead International HPV Festival has been brought forward a week and will now take place on

Saturday September 7 - Sunday September 8 2013

This is to avoid a clash with the http://www.thesilverstone24.com/" rel="nofollow - Silverstone 24 cycling Grand Prix which several of our members have expressed an interest in taking part in.

I apologise to anyone who has already made arrangements for Fowlmead on 14-15th but avoiding the clash should maximise the attendance at Fowlmead and so make it a better event.

Slightly better news for me but it still means I will have to travel back home during the night and probably start at the college as soon as I get back in the morning.Confused
