Looks like a very inclusive event, which is a direction to be encouraged I think.

As with Cyclevision payment is only by bank transfer, which is exceeding expensive for us on the outer fringes of everything. I have written to the organisers to investigate alternatives and will post any responses here.

I am interested in going. If anyone wants to go with me/me to go with them, please let me know. Not sure if/what I will have to take or if I will be fit enough to ride.  Friday doesn't look like my sort of thing.

The WC2013 organisers are looking for a volunteer to manage social networking in connection with WC2013, and will provide free accomodation, veggie grub, etc.

I don't fully understand the prices, do we get a 20 euro discount if we are a BHPC member? What is the reduced price for? Anyone have any idea?

As for ferries, it depends where you live, if you are in the south then go from harwich, from the midlands go from hull or if you are up north then go from Newcastle.

If going from Rotterdam (where you will roughly end up if going from hull or harwich) then it is 2 days riding to get to leer, distance is approx 350km.

Good news:

Hi Andrew,

My name is Christoph Hipp and I'm the main coordinator of the World Championship 2013 in Leer/East Friesland. Paying per paypal shouldn't be a problem. Please transfer application fees to paypal and there to the mail-address

<removed for security>

Lutz Brauckhoff is the treasurer of the HPV Germany - I confirm that this address is OK.

If you need further information don't hesitate to contact us.

If you want to pay WC2013 registration by PayPal then please drop me a PM and I'll send you the address.

The €70 registration is for members of any HPV club, including BHPC. I have volunteered to check people claiming to be BHPC members so no cheating!
