On behalf of Dave Tigwell Cuckoo tail fairing. Surplus to requirements Carbon over polystyrene Weighs 3kgs but could be hollowed out more. Fits over Raaa hard seat,could be altered to fit other seats. Increases your speed by 3.5% minimum. £75. can be taken to races for viewing Contact Dave on 01736 794019 |

Thanks Bazz, I'll have to see if I can arrange a test fitting at Scunthorpe.
I don't suppose anybody knows if Mr Tigwell is attending at Lancaster / Preston do they? I'd rather talk in person than on the phone, poor hearing and the inability to lipread makes it all a bit of a mission. |

Not enough 'a's  . This is the Cuckoo Raaa, but I can't recall seeing it with a tail-fairing, so you could be right Paul and the ad above is a typo?   ------------- Right Time - Right Place - Wrong Speed |

The Raaa (lowracer as pictured by Geoff) has appeared a few times with a tail fairing. I suspect Tiggers has been having too much fun racing the likes of NeilF bare-naked to be wanting to continue using it. ------------- Challenge Hurricane - MicWic Delta (Front half) - Burrows Ratracer |

I think you will find that Dave is selling the Silver Tail Fairing as shown in the picture I linked to.
I think he likes the Naked feeling that Adrian mentioned, even though the fairing gave an extra 3.5% increase in speed, I guess it also increases the hassle factor travelling by train too; unless you have a third party to deliver the fairing to the races.

How Do Geoff,
I Recall a comment made in whichever magazine it was in; in one of the race reports? "the fairing has to be that long to get all the a's on it"
 the bike has three a's and the fairing has fwor a's. I think the extra a on the fairing was for the extra Raaa factor.Take care,

| Barry is absolutely right. Raaa is unfaired, and becomes Raaaa with the silver tail fairing. The fairing will be attending Lancaster and Presto, as will Dave himself although they will not be racing together. |

Clearly this is no ordinary fairing, perhaps if I can harness this self racing abiliity then I'll be finishing in a slightly less bedraggled manner!
