Possible Railbike event

I'm new to this forum and was wondering if you could help me.

Basically, although not a HPV owner myself, bicycle technology has always fascinated me. It was whilst reading my copy of David Gordon Wilson's "Bicycling Science" that I came across "railbikes" and in particular Charles Henry's "Snapper"

My local town (who are always on the lookout for interesting events to put on) happens to have a 4 mile stretch of private railway leading from it. Not the longest, maybe, but I think this would make an ideal spot for a "Speed Trial" event.

So, my question is, who would all be interested in taking part? Who would like a chance to become a British (or World?) Railbike Champion?
