Nazca Fuego
Please find for sale my Nazca Fuego recumbent bike. I bought it used in May last year from a gentleman in the
Netherlands who had owned it from new. I bought it after selling my Quest XS velomobile and
becoming extremely grumpy when not being able to go out riding, after extensive
research I decided to buy a Fuego as it fulfilled my needs as a fast easy to
ride very adjustable bike, do not just take my biased opinion on this please
read reviews, especially one by Dave McCraw http://mccraw.co.uk/nazca-fuego-review/. I put just over a 1k miles on it last summer, I found it
easy to get used to and was soon on the lowest (fastest) riding position, having
rediscovered recumbent riding and missing my Velomobile in particular I put my
order in for a new one. As soon as the
first autumn rain started I put the bike away thinking that I could use both
machines in 2015. However, since getting
my new Velomobile the bike has remained unridden, I’m not a N+1 person, so if
it’s not used then off it must go. The bike is in very good condition, mechanically it works
perfectly, the frame has a few scuffs on it when looking closely partially to
blame for this is the soft paint. I have
adjusted the chain run and dropped the return side to make it more efficient, I
have retained all parts to lift the chain again for tighter turns (I will
include a portion of chain and connectors to allow this) Bike details: Blue Frame fit for someone about 5’6 to 6’0, maybe more but I wouldn’t
be confident of this. Glassfibre seat with Ventisit seat cushion Day rack with integral reflector/rear light Tiagra triple FD Triple chainrings: 48, 34, 24 12 – 32 9 speed cassette with SRAM X7 RD Cranks are Shimano M543 170mm B/B is Shimano external bearing hollow “Mountain” Avid BB7 mechanical discs and levers, plenty of pad left,
discs are hardly marked Rear suspension via DNM steel spring/oil damper which is
fully adjustable Fully adjustable lifting tiller to ease getting on-off. Fitted tyres are Schwalbe Duranos on Wienmann rims with
Deore front and SLX rear hubs – plain spokes. ESGE Pletscher side stand Zefal bottle holder Front light mount Currently fitted with Shimano A520 one sided SPD pedals
although I can fit double sided or even Look pedals in exchange Extra’s included
in asking price: Part worn Schwalbe Marathon racers (fitted when I bought it) Full size SKS mudguards Short “sport” mudguards by Qbike Altura Night Vision “Day Bag” Alloy side pannier rack Terracycle mirror M5 Carbon Fibre Headrest Open Cockpit Handle bars Chain ring guard Price for all the above £950, I can deliver within a 50 mile
radius of Melton Mowbray for cost of fuel. Cheers Ian Please PM me with your email address and i will send photos Edited by Yanto - 05 May 2015 at 2:29pm |
