Three main issues so far
1) Rear dropouts only 130mm, most disc braked hubs are 135 OLD, all the publicity pics are disc braked machines. I've identified, but not yet got a new hub. will probably get two wheels built. 2) seat fitment. I've been looking at this for two days, reluctant to start drilling yet as once I do that's irrevocable. Anyone fitted one of these and have any tips? 3) Boom length - despite taking copious measurements, the boom is about 2" too long even with shortened cranks. Should be able to find a local engineering firm to lop a bit off the end of it. I think get the seat in position first though and then check again.

Can't help with 1 or 2, but 3 wait until the seat position is set.
Not sure about the M5 but I assume the boom slots inside the frame? If so there is no problem with you taking a hack saw to it, just do it little by little until you are happy with the riding position and still have some degree of adjustability. Edit: just looked at the M5 frame, I wouldn't hesitate to shorten the boom myself.
