Part of e-mail announcement by Heike Bunte, new chair of HPV Germany. The English language link is informative -

Today I'd like to send you information about  procedures round riding world records at the Lausitzring test track. Due to some developements which happend  last year we decided to develop the enclosed papers. We want to give the topic 'world record' a more important position in general as well as openness to everybody in specific.
Moreover, our official partner  -the DEKRA (owner of the test track)- needs to get informed about every step due to a ful time table. Therefore from our point of view  not only a certain behaviour towards the DEKRA is necessary and should be accepted but also in terms of handling the importance of a world record attempt.

You'll find general all information about the Lausitzring on our webside: www.hpv.org  under the left hand (menue-)topic: World Records Lausitzring  (English version) or Weltrekorde am Lausitzring (German version). And also the enclosed papers as doc's and pdf's . We'll try to add a French version as soon as possible.

I'll appreciate your help while distributing the information/papers to interesting riders and HPV organisations very much.
I'm looking forward to getting comments from you.

Main observers for the  HPV  Germany which are responsible for the organisation of world records at the Lausitzring are still:

Thomas Wolf
Christoph Hipp
Christain Ascheberg

You'll find the e-mail contact on the enclosed papers.

Meanwhile we work constantly on the development of procedures and more web side information about the 'system' HPV world records.

Best regards,
Heike Bunte
