I've got various odds and sods of Carbon and some Carbon-Kevlar if you want some. Depends on how much you were thinking of needing!

Not much - probably half a yard of carbon, and 250ml or so of epoxy. Not sure at the moment whether to strip down the heat tube area completely and rebuild it or to just patch it. What would be really good, if anyone has any spare or to purchase, is some of that epoxy glue wot Mike gave me to try, or similar. Two part, looks like like melted chewing gum rather than Araldite but is strong enough to attach plane wings.

I know what's best to do, it's just being without a bike for a week that puts me off ...

Why a week? Get busy on Friday night and you will be back on the road on Monday or if I was doing it, on Saturday!
Given the nature of composites a local repair is probably OK - I've got some Carbon tow (like the rovings in woven rovings or unidirectional string) which is very good for doing joints like that. The Fish's head tube and rear suspension pivot is held in with it.
I have some spare epoxy but it is pretty elderly and the cure time is a bit variable, you might be better off buying some. Model shops are a good place to get small quantities.
Any idea as to what the glue Mike gave you was? There are quite a number of grades of epoxy glues and then you move on to the Methacrylates which are excellent at bonding things to cured composites - my current favourite.

Tow would probably be just right - I need to try and stop the bottom of the head tube moving in the frame, and some saturated in resin and stuffed in the gaps should do nicely. I think I've got enough epoxy at the bottom of my can for a repair, but not a rebuild.
I forgot to ask Mike what the glue was - something rather expensive is all I can remember.
If you could have a look and proffer advice on Saturday, then I would be most grateful

Hmmmmmm.... Sounds like Rob's missus went to the same training camp as mine...

I thought I caught mine smiling the other day but it was just indigestion...

Fortunately, she has decided not to go to Lancaster/Preston...

I'll just be coming along with Casey assuming she has shaken off her cold and not passed it on to me...

We've booked a Travelodge though because we are soft southern nancies...

Camping would have been much more fun

I've just noticed on the campsite there's a pets corner with:-

"A variety of animals including rabbits, chipmunks, goats, a pony, parrots and pigs (Rodney and Cassandra)"

Ahh how sweet...
