That's right. Since the refurbishment (which is nice) they've been wanting to keep the area we used to use as a car park as some kind of cycle-skills training area and have been very keen on keeping the barrier closed.
Which at least means nobody can drive onto the track in the middle of a race (which is exciting, but not nice) |

Anyone out there know about setting up the sign-in software before the race? I started at Choose Circuit. I set up lap of 0.03107 miles (50m) for race 1. There was a distance of 0.8060855 set as default. Is that the lap length? I found reference to 1.2K which is about 0.75 miles.
I have entered 2 races. Each participant will do a sprint and 1 other race. Adrian to decide what or if there is a 3rd race.
In Enter Racers, I have cleared participants.
I can see how to allocate Racers to Races.
Enter race details I have put 0 mins 1 lap for the sprint. Is that correct? Does it matter?
I can see how to Enter Racers Times manually and I tried doing it from the Timing Prog after Brands.
I had a quick glance at Preston It has a different default distance. I expect to have to do some work on results after Lancaster, so I can set that up then.
I hope to be on the road before midday. If you have answeres, it would be good to here them before then.
Who is taking the timing kit for Darley Moore?

If you email me the pdf I'll convert it to .doc for you...
I can't get to the race organisers bit of the web site to download it. Edited by AlanGoodman - 22 July 2010 at 10:47pm |

I tried printing the version as sent. Not very good. Might be my archaic version of word, but could be the conversion process. If anyone wants to send the original to protobikes@aol.com please do.

Tried printing it from the laptop to the club printer. Text is better. Pictures are worse. Tried quite a few settings. Not much ink so gave up. Don't want to go through linking up my own printer.
The new text is:
3.4 Waking up the tags

Sorry had problems with editing the last post. The setup for race one seems fine. There are very detailed instructions on how to do this on the website in the organisers area and also some worked examples as training. If you don't have acces register on the website ( this is different to the forum) and then send a note to Neil asking for access giving your username. My phone is normally on so call me if there are problems.
