So what are we proposing?
Back up 250metres, pedal like billio, through a 50 trap and hit the brakes before running out of road?

The last bit certainly sounds like a good idea Rob Smile

Start your run-up from the "old" start-finish line - i.e. near where you come on to the track from the car park, crank it up to whatever you're comfortable taking the bottom corner at, then pedal like billio, through a 50 trap and hit the brakes before running out of road - or at least to slow down enough for the corner.  Then pedal round gently to where you started.

There will be full distance count downs every 200m. I have a 1200m sign but there probably isn't enough room for that. The 50m timed section will be near the end of the main straight. Just enough room after to stick the anchors on if you are going quick.

Setting up the sprint gear at Lancaster will be quite laborious and involve a lot of lugging since I can't get the car close to the circuit. I will be there early. I'd really appreciate it if anyone can turn up to help.

09:00? May be able to do some measuring out the night before, if I get there in time.

Why can't you get the car close to the circuit?
I thought we'd had the signing on car up by the start before...

Do they not open the barrier like Hillingdon do?
It's a bookable facility so you would think that they would open up for a booking.
