Maplins do a handy thingy for sensing when the car battery is running low and disconnecting the unit plugged in for things like powered coolboxes. I am getting one for my powered coolbox (call me sad but there's nothing worse than warm champagne at the picnic!)

I will put in a 12 7Ah sealed lead acid and its charger in as a backup for the car battery - mind I haven't tried the laptop to see what its power usage is. The battery will also be available to power a printer.

I will put in a printer (my old Canon thing last used at Brighton), assuming it still works, along with a 12V power supply (and some paper) to keep everything as self-contained as possible.

Having a sunshade that folds into the box as well might be more fun but it will give me something to think about on the ferry to Holland.

The unit is intended to be included with the general timing kit - just have to remember to check it before the race!

This is because you Subverted the System by competing twice at Eastway, compounded by a cut'n'paste error on my part.  Any more lip and I'll be forced to tell everyone what you did to Paula's Ratty, oops what a giveaway...
