Just like to say thanks to Geoff, Fiona and Derek for taking me out for a ride this morning, and not getting too annoyed when I had to cut it short when the chain idler bracket broke.
 More welding required. Still, on the bright side my new spd shoes and pedals worked well when riding / starting on the road, and the shoes are particularly comfy when walking!!!
