I've found it makes a huge difference as to how much the rider weighs. I weigh 53 kg now, and I really think that is too light for FWD. I would estimate that I had the Wasp at about 75% weighted at the front wheel, but I weighed 66 kg then.

Yea, I guess high watt/kg is a detriment when it comes to traction. Fortuantely, I'll not be exceptional in this in forceeable future, lol.

Yes, I was using second gear to start, just to reduce the torque. It was a fine line between wheelspin and being able to pull away. Either way was prone to fall off. It was only because I used to ride the Wasp every day that I became proficient at starting.< id="BFI_" style="width: 1px; height: 1px; display: none;">
