With a number of failed lights on my Velo when I acquired it I always knew I wanted to update them... I then spotted just how absurdly cheap the raspberry pi pico was, as of course are addressable LED strips.

Well, the two combined and I now have a USB battery bank powered LED setup for (probably) RVLR compliant lighting...  There is no way to make pedal reflectors visible obviously.

I have:
 - Brake lights - these are activated immediately, interrupting the flow of the software (i.e. not waiting for the loop to come around)
 - Indicators
 - RVLR lights - front and rear sections which flash at an appropriate rate , and have no non-flashing modes (other that off of course)
 - Pedal simulators - in a nod to the requirement for pedal reflectors, but with an eye on the ban on amber lights... I have a slightly less red chasing LED sequence to mimic pedal reflectors.

There is a completely separate front "to see by" LED visible in the air intake.
I haven't tied this into a cadence sensor - just a standard indicator switch, brake microswitch and global power button.

Apologies for the camera's attempts to autofocus...
