Sounds about right to me!
The important point is that the pedal cars will be racing on the Saturday at Curborough and the track may be available on the Sunday if we want it...

As we don't yet have a Comp Sec for next year nothing can be booked by them yet. If you're concerned about losing the date I suppose you could make a provisional booking as Chairman. It sounds a reasonable plan to me.

The Cycle Show is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and NEC is less than 25 miles from Curborough so people could even make a weekend of it.

That sounds like a good weekend to me!
I'm just a mere secretary (Richard is Chairman) but I'd be happy to book it.
Struggling for a phone signal much of the time here in Cornwall though so it may well have to wait until the weekend (by which time we will have a shiny new comp sec anyway).
Does anybody have the contact details?
If I get a chance I'll call them.
