I was in Ghent, Belgium at the weekend at the European Jazz Conference 2024 and I heard that this was home of Fietser.be velomobiles. In a gap in the schedule I cycled out to find them and there I met the owner Brecht Fietser. Brecht was a good sport as he let me film our meeting.
In return Brecht came as my guest to the final showcase gig and afterparty on the Saturday night - a special immersive concert in a circular venue with local band Schntzl. Up to now I've avoided thinking about velomobiles but after talking to Brecht it's not going to be so easy!
