For Sale AVD/Burrows Windcheetah Hypersport Trike #857 – less than 300 miles.
Rear main tube is 6000 T6 series Aluminium tubing bonded to investment cast aluminium lugs. Front boom and arms are custom multi-layer, carbon fibre construction – high modulus, twill weave exterior. Tubes are bonded using aerospace specification epoxy adhesives. All frame fittings are taper bored spigot to reduce stress points and reduce weight. Seat mounted on carbon fibre leaf springs.
Running Gear: Shimano Ultegra 11sp shifters, Shimano 105 Double chainset (52.36), 11speed Ultegra cassette (11.32), Shimano 105 front and rear derailleur mechanism. Front Wheels: Custom Sturmey Archer 70mm single sided drum brake laced to 28 hole x 406 eyeleted rims, Sapin stainless steel spokes. Titanium axles Rear wheel: AVD/Burrows cantelever hub laced to 32 hole x 559 eyeleted rim, stainless steel spokes.
