   Metabike MetaPhrastic 700C recumbent bike

This is a fast high-racer, equipped with above seat steering, disk brakes and the ability to use wider tyres, located in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland. 

Specs:
700C wheels with 700x28 Continental Gatorskins
Shimano hydraulic disk brakes
Foldable stem (TerraCycle GlideFlex folding stem)
Ventisit 2-layer seat cushion, along with original closed cell seat cushion
Mudguards front and rear (rear mount required some custom work with cable ties & tape, but it held up well for me)
Gearing 3x9
Rubber washers added to seat mounts to reduce the road 'buzz'
Zefal spy mirrors x2
Radical Design Solo Aero seatback bag - great piece of kit
Spare edge protection for seat
Standard platform pedals
Reason for sale:
This is a very fast bike, and is great when going above 7 mph. However, below that speed it is a bit twitchy. Unfortunately my local roads have lots of hills, and very poor road surfaces so I'm looking for something a bit easier on the hills as I often take my time on the ascents (i.e. I'm slow!)
