Still trying to sort out a fork design for my SWB  R40
Anyone familiar with this article (and this calculator)

https://rothrockcyrcle.wordpress.com/2020/09/26/steering-geometry-of-short-wheelbase-recumbent-bikes/

http://yojimg.net/bike/web_tools/trailcalc.php

I'm putting a 406 20" wheel on the R40 and the steepest angle I can get on the headset with the shortest fork is going to be less than 70deg - pretty laid back.

So if the description is valid I need to minimise the 'flop' but keep some trail which is tricky with a relaxed head angle.

So with a 40mm offset I can get a 55mm trail and 19mm flop - how do I make sense of that?

Any feedback?
