Have a Peer Gynt', with a dubious front tyre, would like a good condition or new tyre.
Anyone know where to get one?

I would start again with a more available tyre size. Either a 37mm wide tyre on the existing rim or swap out the wheel, tyre and brake for 451 or 406, depending on the fork dimensions.
