So far, we have volunteers for:
  • First Aider - Stuart Glen
  • Assistant organisator - Alan Braley
Many thanks to Stuart and Alan for that.  Since it's been a while since you volunteered, please let me know if you're not able to fill those roles after all.

We still have vacancies that need filling for a smooth day's racing:
  • Lead Organisator
  • Unlocker/Locker-upper.  The keys need to be collected (just from GOALS next door) so we can get in, and returned at the end of the event after locking-up.  This role is best suited to someone localish who can be there early and doesn't mind being more or less last out.  Not someone like me, with a four+ hour drive home.

Volunteers, please!

Derrick told me last night that he's supposed to be organising at Hillingdon.

    How Do Adrian ;-)
I don't mind collecting the keys and opening up, but if there are a few hangers on at the end dragging their cleats packing up It would be great if one of you could lock the gate and hand the keys back, I am quite happy to lock the rest up though.

    Take care,
    Barry ;-)

Great news!  It's either a lapse on my part not to have noted/remembered that he'd offered, or on his, that he's forgotten he didn't volunteer Confused.  Given our respective ages and reputations, either of those is plausible  LOL

I'm sure he said at Rhyl that he would do Hillingdon... He wasn't even drunk at the time either... Big smile

The club's AGM will follow the racing at Hillingdon so we need to have all the racing wrapped up by 2ish so that we can start the AGM at a sensible time... I'm hoping for 2:30pm.

Twed: Have you decided what the race format is going to be at Hillingdon??

    How Do Kevin ;-)
It will be well worth the ride! Look forward to seeing you again.
Have you not thought of going on the train with your bike? fairly easy going from London to Hayes and your bike will just about fit in the bike storage, diagonally of course ;-)

    Take care,
    Barry
