Hi for sale Toxy ZR with Schlump high speed mountain drive toxy lite weight wheels with upgraded shock carbon seat , mud guards whit in colour many extras total cost is around £3900 asking £2400 ono photos on request, file is to big to upload on here
Specifications Schlumpf Mountain Drive (see below for details - massive range, no inefficiency in normal riding, easy hill starts). SLX 10 speed 11-36 cassette with rapidfire shifters (I much rpefer these to twist shifts). Air shock (much lighter, more adjustable and comfortable than the standard spring). Toxy 'Lite-W8' wheelset with aero spokes (weighs 1230g, saving 570g). Large carbon fibre seat. Airflow seat cusion (very light, dry and comfortable - best pad I have had). Carbon fibre headrest (at present I have an Ice headrest on the bike as I can easily mount a rear light on it - both are included in the sale). Quickreleases for the seat (helps with relatively quick dismantling for packing). Set of mudguards (currently not fitted but can be seen fitted in some of the photos I have uploaded). Kick stand (useful for both parking and for fitting low-slung side bags - I have used Radical Banana Racer bags; the kick stand prevents loose bags touching the wheel). Adjustable stem. Custom powdercoating The tires are Schwalbe Durano 28s. I have added two mirrors as can be seen in the picture. I also mounted a longer adjustable stem. Both are included in the sale. I am 5 10. The boom has a huge amount of adjustment so should fit people substantially taller or shorter than me. The seat is large. Schlumpf Mountain Drive I chose the Mountain Drive for various reasons and it has proved to be ideal for these. 1) Most of the riding is done in direct drive. This means there is no loss of efficiency for the vast majority of the riding. 2) It is very easy to shift and hard to accidentally shift. Gears can be dropped by a ratio of 2.5:1 instantly and when not moving. This gives a lot of control over stop-start riding. When having to stop unexpectedly in a high gear, starting is very easy as are even steep hill starts. 3) Long steep climbs offer a wide range of gears if needed. 4) The front end is very simple an neat. Transport is much simpler as the boom can be removed without having to break the chain, removing and adjusting derailleur cables. The 11-36 cassette offers a wide range with no cross chaining Edited by evenbad - 24 June 2015 at 2:40am |
