We got it for half price for a trial run.
£250 + VAT I think but, of course, we only used the go-kart track and not the big 4 mile runway circuit.

Security were very helpful.
Directed people to the track, gave our race controller an emergency radio in case of problems and made sure we had everything we needed.

Only complaints my brother the race organiser has been getting is that the races were a bit on the short side and the day was a bit disjointed but that's the sort of thing you can mess about with very easily for another time.

Anything which happens before or afterwards is just standing around waiting to race....

I'm guessing those people complaining haven't been to a BHPC event lately... Big smile

Personally I only did 2 stints, totalling 55m54s which was 62 laps. And it seemed all over rather quickly!
Fine for me - 25 minutes from my house, but one of our team had come all the way from Plymouth and only got a little more time than me in the car.

But the circuit is great.

I did 4 stints including the whole of the first 45 minute race and a 50 minute stint to the end of the last race... But I'd bet you still did more laps than me... Big smile

I concur with previous experiences of The Brunt. The crit circuit when we were last there was horrible but the runway is great. I believe they have a rather active aircraft museum. Unlikely to relinquish it for a big event for us. Bruntingthorpe offers good courses and full access.
