The time you have calculated for me agrees to within 1 second of my stopwatch.

Mike Burrows has lost a white/greyish SiS drinks bottle, last seen in the clubhouse at Hillingdon before the AGM. Does anyone have it or can remember seeing it?

There were several drink bottles (at least half a dozen) in the clubhouse and a black and also red coat with "British Cycling" on it.
We asked around but nobody claimed anything. We didn't bring anything away as we weren't certain the items weren't already there when we unlocked in the morning so they should all still be there. |

For what it's worth, I think saw it there when I left although I can't remember exactly where. Mike was putting X into his car when I went to mine, I think. On the race speeds, my Garmin recorded 15.7 mph and I did wonder why my race speed showed up slower (15 mph)? The Garmin measures speed using satellite positions and the race route will probably be a different length to the track measurements. Could that be it? My overall position is correct though so that's what matters, and thanks to all the organisers. I noticed that Lee had the fastest Strava times for some segments of the track when I was looking at my own pedestrian times on Strava. If Steve had a Garmin he would be top of the leaderboard on Strava of course. All the best. Roy

You should always ask Mike, he has a long history of leaving his stuff behind. All the best. Roy

I shouted out of the door a couple of times but I didn't have time to go round and ask everybody as locking up there is a bit of a mission...

About the results again, I have downloaded my lap times for both races from the cycle computer. That seems to more or less follow what I see in the electronic timing for the first fast race, apart from the last lap that is missing from the electronic timing.
However the total time for the second fast race is quite different 33:27 for 16 laps in my computer vs 32:16 for 16 laps in the official results. The time for Mike has to be wrong as well as he was a fraction of a second faster than me Race 1 Lap Time Distance Avg Speed 1 2:21.7 1.57 km 39.8 km/h 2 2:03.0 1.52 km 44.5 km/h 3 2:05.0 1.52 km 43.9 km/h 4 2:06.0 1.52 km 43.4 km/h 5 2:06.0 1.52 km 43.3 km/h 6 2:09.0 1.54 km 42.9 km/h 7 2:10.0 1.52 km 42.1 km/h 8 2:12.0 1.52 km 41.5 km/h 9 2:11.0 1.53 km 42.0 km/h 10 2:11.0 1.51 km 41.6 km/h 11 2:13.0 1.53 km 41.4 km/h 12 2:13.0 1.52 km 41.2 km/h 13 2:14.0 1.52 km 40.7 km/h 14 2:12.0 1.53 km 41.6 km/h 15 2:13.0 1.52 km 41.1 km/h 16 2:07.2 1.50 km 42.4 km/h Total 34:46.9 24.38 km 42.1 km/h Race 2 Lap Time Distance Avg Speed 1 2:18.4 1.56 km 40.5 km/h 2 2:04.0 1.53 km 44.4 km/h 3 2:03.0 1.53 km 44.7 km/h 4 2:02.0 1.51 km 44.6 km/h 5 2:04.0 1.53 km 44.3 km/h 6 2:03.0 1.52 km 44.6 km/h 7 2:06.0 1.54 km 43.9 km/h 8 2:07.0 1.52 km 43.0 km/h 9 2:05.0 1.52 km 43.8 km/h 10 2:10.0 1.52 km 42.2 km/h 11 2:08.0 1.51 km 42.5 km/h 12 2:06.0 1.53 km 43.7 km/h 13 2:02.0 1.51 km 44.5 km/h 14 2:06.0 1.53 km 43.6 km/h 15 2:06.0 1.53 km 43.7 km/h 16 1:56.8 1.48 km 45.6 km/h Total 33:27.2 24.36 km 43.7 km/h |
