[Copied from the other place - I'm the seller]

Sadly selling my Bachetta as don't have enough opportunity to ride it these days

Larger pic:

A few details

Bought a few years ago from Rich OTP, it has

  • 3 x 9 speed SRAM with grip shift
  • Shimano Nexus dynamo hub
  • Cyo T senso plus front light
  • seat-back luggage
  • under-seat pannier rack
  • Schwalbe Kojak (new) front, Gatorskin rear
  • Seat adjusts - I'm 1.7m / 5'7" and it's about in the centre of its range

  • Lots of fun to ride, and a good first bent.

It's in Oundle, Northants (between Peterborough and Corby).

    Looking for £400

I'm having trouble adding the image, does that not work here?

A couple of things worth clarifying, from questions from the previous interested party:

    It has 11.5" boom

Fitted with rim brakes, the frame has bosses for discs.

I don't think any of that applies to my BT email address Kim. it's roy123456 (at) btinternet.com. Unless they use a special server unlike anyone else's. And why did they used to accept it but no longer do?

    But thanks for the info.

    All the best.

It works, it's just horribly unintuitive.  You need to use the add image dialog, give the url, then click preview in order to enable the OK button.  (Alternatively, upload the image and select that.)

When adding URLs, the dialog likes to prefix an additional http:// on account of trying to be clever.

The sequential digits might fall foul of some online spam filter, I guess.  I'll message roger and see if he can reset your password directly.

My old Giro I think. Happy memories of short tours in Holland and France on it. Steel frame, aluminum fork (1" steerer).

Roger says he sent you a new password yesterday.  If you didn't receive it, it's probably because BT are binning everything from yacf.co.uk

Then I brought it (for the better half), she would buy it back if we had the room.

I've only just caught up with this thread but For What It's Worth, the answer almost certainly lies in the 'btinternet.com' - yes, they do 'use a special server', as does Outlook.

IN another hat I run a mail system for a small charitable organisation. We have endless problems sending mail to both btinternet.com and hotmail/outlook.com addresses. The spam filters on these two systems are not only unusually aggressive but also silently discard suspected spam email without notification to either sender or recipient.

Most mail systems respect SPF, DKIM and DMARC message authentication but BTinternet and Outlook will discard even perfectly authenticated messages. To accept a message for delivery or relay and then to just delete it seems a clear violation of SMTP protocol but that's what they do. The users of these systems must be missing substantial amounts of mail without knowing it - much of it will be junk but a small amount will be genuine stuff.

Unfortunately the only solution is to change your email provider. Even Gmail returns rejection messages to senders and spam notifications to recipients.
