Anyone know if Miles has posted any links to the photos he took on Saturday?

Lots of pictures on the Facebook group... The Time Trial was timed handraulically using good old fashioned stopwatches... Results will follow once Heather finishes (the calculations, not the lap... Evil Smile)

Barney broke the news to me on Sunday morning. So, I had to do another TT lap and Barney timed me. The results should be with Chris. I know the time, but not to the last decimal seconds.

John's time trial result is written on the bottom of the race 1 results sheet which went home with Chris along with the other paper copies and sign on sheet, I'm almost certain it was 2 mins 18 seconds there were decimals but I don't have them.

I won't be fast but probably will be struggling to judge corners and may be a bit erratic till I get the hang of it.

The bike is now pretty much back to the spec Tim Hayes rode between 97 and 2000. If you recognise it or know anything of it's history, I'd be very interested to hear about it.

I don't know much about your particular one, but the Low Racer Peter Ross and his riders used to ride had the nose cone like you have with a skeleton attached that had a cylindrical head out fabric body over the whole thing and used to hinge at the front and lift straight up in front of the rider. It was very fast. Unable to find any pictures of it though. I think Ian Chattington used to race one unfaired and won the unfaired championship many times before he switched to the Paul Davis D6 when he won the faired championship many times. I don't remember Peter Ross selling Low Racers though maybe because the Wasp 2 came to dominate the tracks at that time and Miles was selling them at a very reasonable price.

All the best.

Thanks Roy, that's very interesting. Maybe it's not the same bike as there are no connection points on the fairing for the skeleton you describe. I'd be very interested to see a photo of that bike if anyone else has anything or knows where it might be found online.
