Hello everyone, the next world championships will take place in France in the Jura region (East). Dates: 15th - 17th of July 2022 The event is still at early stages but it should take the following format: - uphill race (2 heats of ~3km) - sprints 200m and km - Criterium 100km Accommodation will be at the sport centre on the banks of the lake: http://www.bellecin.com/ I'll keep updating this page as more details emerge. And the brand new teaser video is ready Since you expect up to 60 racers at Hillingdon, I guess there could be at least 20 from GB in France next year

Thanks for sharing.
Does anyone know what medical certificate they need? Is a British cycling race licence enough? |

Hello, the medical certificate form is online on the site :https://www.afvelocouche.fr/world-championships-2022-2/registrations/ If you have a cycling race license it will do, simply download it on the registration site.

Hello, according to my latest figures, only 1 Brit has registered so far for the event. Sun, lake, cheese, wine and nice roads, what's not to like ? Hope to see you in July. Marc

It is a very expensive journey from the UK when looking at the cost of fuel and the massive increase in ferry costs compared to last time in 2019, plus all the extra insurance costs and red tape associated with us leaving the EU.
