Trice no longer makes its line of "custom" trikes, and when they were available they cost a LOT of money ($7450 in America in 2006) - so this is quite a rare machine. The Micro is described on the ICE history pages as "the lowest, most aerodynamic Trice ever built" and in reviews as one of the fastest trikes made. It is nevertheless a versatile machine - Micros have been ridden successfully in BHPC races and have completed many UK Audax events, including London-Edinburgh-London.

This example has been meticulously maintained and always kept indoors. Its current lady owner saved it for sunny days, so it is in excellent condition. It has now been replaced by a less sporty electrically-assisted trike, and is much too nice to sit unused so is for sale.

It is equipped as follows:

Frame: handmade custom steel, painted in a silver/blue fade
Wheels: 355 (Birdy 18") rims with Veloplugs on ICE front and ICE Capreo-compatible rear hubs
Tires: Schwalbe Kojak, 185g
Chainset: Spa XD-2 160mm cranks (made by Sugino), 110mm BCD, 52/34 rings
Cassette: Capreo 9-26, giving gears from 21" to 94"
Rear Derailleur - Shimano Ultegra
Front Derailleur - Shimano Ultegra
Idlers: Terracycle with Mike Burrows Delrin guides for the return chain run
Brakes - Shimano Deore disc
Seat - Trice carbon fiber with headrest and custom-made cylindrical pad

ICE custom rear carrier (not currently fitted), ICE custom front mudguard set (not currently fitted)
2 bottle cages under seat, mirror/computer mount on RH handlebar with Mirrycle mirror, GPS mount,
ICE chainring guard

Spares: 1 Kojak tyre, 56T TA chainring, original headrest pad

Photos can be seen here:

Price: £1250
- can be seen and test ridden at the Shrewsbury meeting on July 2nd
