About to fit the chain to a new road bent and am looking for some advise please on whats the best length to set the boom to. Should the toes piont  a little/ alot or not at all at full leg extension.

As a starter I use the same rule of thumb as you do on an upwrong, i.e. extend leg fully with heel of shoe on pedal.  Then as I ride more I tweak back and forth a few mm until if feels right with no knee pain.
