A crime number is always handy .
Dealing in these things ( I don't mean hot and stolen versions )
I can assure BHPC members  its probably one of worst cycles to off load .
Dave "no surname" down the pub prefers frozen meat or razor blades
The recovery rate is actually very high given time .
Two examples I have been involved with ........
A Challenge two wheeler was stolen from the Mildenhall Rally
The owner based in Norfolk recovered it from the West Country !
Another incident
A  Tour Easy clone was pinched from a well know rider from Slough Railway station
and discovered by me near Stanstead Airport Essex .
With a little help from the Armed Response Unit
That's a fun story .............
It scared the S*** out of the unsuspecting Ebay vendor with a gentle knock on the door
Eventually it was returned to the rightfull owner and arrests were made in Slough
Tip .....
The police call centre covering Leeds will note it down simply as a pedal bike
along with the other 1000 stolen bikes . So how do you place it in the top ten ?
I would suggest you contact the local police stations with some picture postcards .
Most will hand them out at on duty meetings and briefings to local police officers
Hand them out to Taxi Drivers in your area
Watch Gumtree and Ebay and do not expect a listing with the word recumbent used
Probably found at a stupid low price and hey ho cash sale only .

Hope that helps Kevin D
