It will be possible to camp at Darley Moor on the Saturday night (£5 per tent/caravan).

For anyone wanting to camp, the gates will be closed (but not locked). Just let yourself in (but please close the gates behind you) and park in the comeptitors car park (up near the toilets). Price is £5 per pitch per night.

I'll come around to collect the monies off folks at the tentside.

Facilities are limited (ie. toilets, drinking water & fresh air, but no showers or electric hook-ups etc)

I'll be there (and Darley Moor, though won't be camping because it's close enough to home not to be worth the effort), happy to wrangle timing kit, or whatever else needs doing.

With any luck I'm hoping to drag my partner along to this one, so she can see what's involved in "winning a fish". Sadly her hip's not currently rated for much of anything, so I can't bully her into joining in. Which makes her a spare pair of hands for anything that doesn't require time-critical hearing.

Brilliant!

Thanks Kim. Much appreciated.

Shawn can't make it. If anyone of similar stature would like to ride Notso, can still bring it.

I'll be there (and Darley Moor) so the Time Team should be back to full strength. Just hope we have some timing kit too.

Is this the place where the post code is wrong and should be in the car park just around the corner in St Oswald's road?

If everything goes to plan I should be able to join you, with a shiny Risse Astro 5 suspension in the Quest! It's going to be great :)

Also, as usual Google Maps has a very poor coverage of the area. Just use OpenStreetMap (and edit the map when it is not precise enough!):

See below. Is there anyone in West London who would be able to pick up the timing gear from Jonathan and bring it to Leicester on Saturday?

"I (Jonathan) am planning to pick up the timing gear from Neil tonight, but my attendance this weekend is uncertain. Can drop gear if there is someone not far from West London who can take it."

Will be around for Saturday and Sunday and would be happy to help with fast folk races and setting up and taking down.

Wot Heather sez. It is looking unlikely I will have a rider for Notso and I don't plan to do the trip just to deliver the gear. Can deliver a reasonable distance tomorrow (Fri).

If a generator is required. I suggest someone call EDS Portaprompt before 17:00.

Just called Slash - Portaprompt do not have a generator but he is looking into possibilities with battery packs.

Postcode https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Leicester+LE3+6RJ" rel="nofollow - LE3 6RJ will get you to the carpark for the circuit in St Oswald Road. From there a path leads to the circuit - it's the closest you can get but still quite a trek.

The advertised postcode for Leicester Cycle Circuit (LE3 6DN) is closer to the actual circuit but isn't useful if arriving by car.

In the 15-min races there was some confusion around the end of the first (slower) race which resulted in the second (faster) race being run as 15-mins +2 laps. The timing data show that the first race was in fact flagged at 15-mins +1 lap, so the second race has been treated in the same way. This means that most people's final lap has been removed from the results. As there were no close finishes the finish order isn't changed, the race just finished a lap earlier than you thought.

Confused? You should try organising some time...

These are the provisional results for the second (15-min) races:

Round 2 Race 1

Pos Name Nr Bike Name Class Laps Time MPH
1 Dave Overton 30 Overton O/P/U/Mf/M 10 18:35.97 20.0

No; you're going to have to go back in there.
