Hi Jeff,

Looks nice and quick. Which do you prefer, tracks like this or ones like Preston where we'll be next week that have more tricky corners?

FWIW, I've done a couple of laps of that as part of Kajsa Tylén's celebratory ride. Can confirm that it's lovely and smooth, and that a Brompton really doesn't do it justice :)

Hi Colin
I don't mind any track, tight hairpins do scare me a little but that makes it interesting.

Looks nice, relatively velomobile friendly with just the turns slowing it down a bit.

When I was Comp Sec I spent a frustrating amount of time trying to book the Harvey Haddon Circuit, which seemed to involve calling one specific person on their mobile. Eventually I went there in person to the Reception Desk and still couldn't book it - because they couldn't contact said person on his mobile. This was a few years ago though so maybe their procedures have improved since then.

I took the opportunity while there to ride a few laps of the circuit and found some of the bends really quite tight at typical recumbent speeds, but the riders of my local bike club seem to like it.

Chap in video must have been doing 15 mph then as it looks benign.

Been to Harvey haddon today, had the track to myself, ( first race I have ever won ) the track surface is nice and smooth and quite windy in places the bottom hairpin is tight and the rest is easily doable, overall the track is quite short and there are a number of entrances around the track and a football pitch in the centre so could be interesting when a bit busier, it is suggested to go anticlockwise unless stated, I did have a couple of laps clockwise and it was not to bad although when coming into the bottom hairpin your eyes are distracted by the road traffic in front of you as you come to it, maybe that was just me, to just drop in it cost £4.00, not sure what it costs to hire, also with the track situated at the side of the main building the loos are a bit of a trek back, the other facilities seem to be good.
