Starting a new thread to keep Preston and Lancaster results separate from each other.

It's going to be confusing enough as it is...

While I hate to say it, I was beaten on a line by a "roadie" (possibly Simon Watson??). So I believe he should have the same number of laps like me (17 and not 15 as in the published results). Maybe he stopped somewhere and I did not see it (not the case, I was trying to catch him all the race).

Did Simon Watson take part in both the fast and slow races on his upwrong bike??
I thought he was in the slow race riding with another upwrong for the whole race...

Yes, that's right Alan - his 'official' race was the first race. He wanted another go (nutter :-)), but we explained he wouldn't get a result for the second race. By we, I mean me and the Competition Secretary, so it was official, like.

He was on the same lap as me (assuming he didn't stop) - I thought he was going to stay with me on the first few laps, but I got away, although I never lapped him.
