What a BLAST!!!!

thanks for an excellent two day.

Bugster Demands!!! a female seat next timeOuch if she is to race a DF, (reumbent time I feel).
but to say the least, she rather enjoyed it as she has not been on a bike for that long in 8 years!!! I'd better start making her new CF lowrace for next yearEvil Smile

kind regards
Gd

Thanks to everyone who helped out - good turn out, dry tracks, good results (incuding me not getting lapped by the old man of hpv and the red setter!!), no injuries, good company & a good social on Saturday evening - all made for a great weekend. The memories of camping by the surprisingly busy west coast main line & banging my head off a sign (maybe I should wear a helmet off the bike instead - or just look where I'm going!!) are fading fast.

We came along again to the Preston race to take a few photographs this year, and nice to see a bit of sun after last years downpour.

There are quite a few shots on my website www.whiteflyerphotography.com and here are a few small samples.  Hope everyone had a good day.

Great photos - esp this one of the Fish putting a DF bike in the shade - very symbolic!

Some great pictures there.
Was you that guy with the camera standing right where I would most likly end up if I went into the bend too fast and stacked it?

Provisional results and tables to be posted when that nice Mr Branson gives me my webspace back. Otherwise final versions to appear in due course in the official BHPC Gazette.

After getting home from White Rose country, I fell into bed and slept for over 12 hours and I had a dream ........ It involved a Special Event, not Devil-take-the-Hindmost, but Jousting, with Messrs Jenkins and Perry mounted on their Speedies, with lances in hand, accelerating towards eachother shouting terrible oaths!

I woke up at that point, took another painkiller and went back to Preston, where I found myself overtaking Ian Perry on the final bend! This bit is more prediction, than drug induced fantasy.

I have noted that I actually went faster (sorry, less slowly!) in both White Rose events this year and calculate that if I maintain this rate of progress, I may actually finish on the same lap as Ian Perry, when I reach my 72nd birthday!

Thanks to everyone who contributed to creating a great weekend of racing.

HUGE thanks to all the organisators (F&G, C&A, McDee) and the cheerers! Brilliant weekend! Absolutely fabulous to catch up with everyone - I realised how much I miss playing...! Also massive thanks to MikeB for playing on the Ratracer - it was B R I L:-)
Arrived home in the frozen north safely just on 10pm as the road gods were on my side (and I just managed not to run out of fuel before Glasgow...). See you soon.
