Hi, I am a complete beginner with only recumbent trike at present. I have been thinking about trying 2 wheels, but have no knowledge of the hurricane, is it fairly stable or a bit twitchy.

Hurricanes are excellent bikes and relatively easy to ride.
I've had mine for years.

Thanks Alan, if I venture into 2 wheels it would seems to be a suitable candidate. I will give it some serious thought.

My first recumbent was a Hurricane. I still have, and ride, it. The handling is sharp but predictable. Starting off from stationary will take some practice, but it will come. At speed, it feels like it's on rails.

It's not something I'd recommend, and I can't do it myself, but I've seen a Hurricane ridden no-hands.
