Topic: Found helmet Posted: 03 July 2006 at 8:48am |
I have in my posession a blue and white Met helmet that was left at the Lancaster track. Does anyone lay claim to it?
I'll bring it to Hayes on 17th 16th.

I think I remember Heather Bradder wearing something similar. I've sent a message to Nigel Bradder to let him know.

Young master Vaughan Read is, I am reliably informed, short of a blue helmet of the Met variety.

Would anyone want to find your socks after 1000 miles?

Does that mean they got home before you Legs, and managed to get to the cold beers first? Sounds like the opportunity for a new class; semi-assisted, partially congniscent lifeforms developed from items of clothing class. I have several lycra shirts that could easily be developed (with or without the use of a garage) to enter this one!

The rather prosaic explanation is that The Socks of Doom became enmeshed with the plastic wrapping of a bottle of Mr Sainsbury's Caledonian Spring Water, which was lurking at the bottom of one of my crates...
