Currently ride a Sprint RS, having previously had a Pete Ross trike ('93 precursor to the trice).  Commuted by trike for ~10 years.

Due to a change in circumstances (disability from illness) I am pondering switching from transport to sport... and therefore looking at the possibility of a Vortex/VTX.

Particularly easy if someone is looking to move to a more practical vehicle*, a simple swap could be arranged, but I can bridge a separate sale and purchase if needed.

* Dynamo lighting, disk brakes, full mudguards (and spares), rack, side pods, headrest, mirrors, multiple rear wheel options (including an e-assist cassette wheel)...

Better known by the same name on the CTC (now CyclingUK) forums.

The Vortex is simply a Sprint in disguise and that version folds .
Later versions became known as the VTX and thats when ICE put the design on a serious diet ?
Hence no folding and fixed position handlebars and revised rear section with a unique front boom.
Plus many other changes such as the seat mounting position and the steering head machined out etc etc
So if you require "Light" the VTX is a starting point but do not get drawn in by the headline weight claims that are simply not the real world  "on the road weight"
Actually some earlier ICE custom design trikes are lighter than the current crop !
Then you have the Burrows Windcheetah design which is "light" ....but thats another story
Happy to explain the pros and cons over the phone
Oh and I have the current 2020 ICE VTX model in stock
Plus a "light" custom ICE Micro and a many many Speedy Windcheetah's
amongst my fifty + trike stockholding (recumbent sweetshop) Wink
