Don't use the postcode on the Leicester Cycle Circuit Facebook page (LE6 3DN) in your satnav - that will take you to the front entrance of New College on Glenfield Road which is a long walk from the circuit. LE3 6RJ should get you to the New Parks Leisure Centre. The cycle circuit has its own car park opposite the Leisure Centre on the other side of St Oswald's Rd.

There is an access road (possibly barriered) to the circuit itself for drop off but no parking except a small bay near the start line for 2 or 3 vehicles. It's very similar to Salt Ayre (Lancaster) - big car park for the Leisure Centre, smaller car park for the circuit and a little bay near the track for equipment.

The results from the timing system for today's races at Leicester are now available on the BHPC website:
The traditional results tables are going to take a little longer because of the big bunch finish in the 2nd slower race which is going to take some time for the Video Assistant Referee to sort out. At the moment he is about to nod off in front of Countryfile so it may well be tomorrow evening before we get anything useful out of him.

In the meantime please sit back and enjoy the timing system results.

One question though: Jonny Appleby Snr's tags suddenly vanished about 20 minutes into the 2nd race. Did he DNF or was a cloaking device activated?

Hi folks
thanks once again for an interesting weekend of racing not quite as hot as the worlds but the sun did shine at Darley Moor, not for long but thank heaven for small mercy's, the Leicester track was nice and swoopy once we got access to it,  a few more facilities close to the track would have been nice or the leisure centre open till 4pm, do they not know about men of a certain age, one must have facilities, checklist for next time one toilet tent and a portaloo and maybe send the staff at Leicester to charm school,  rant over !, not too many photo's of Darley as I had guests join me and all the racers were all in the main race together so here are some anyway copy any you want.
Cheers.

Thanks Andrew,

Not one to quibble but pleased to see I was only just behind Slash in the slow race 2! I knew I would wear him down after about 10 years.

I had a great day and thanks to all who organised or raced. Like Geoff, I am of a certain age and it was a long way to the first services on the M1!

Had a fun time :) The actual track was very nice indeed :) Real shame about the facilities, or rather lack of.
