Actually the secret to getting good results in the new digital era is simply to stash your tags on board a faster rider, as Neil did here LOL. Anyone with a non-conductive storage space (or a large enough helmet) could earn good money by offering a tag-couriering service for key races.

That seems to be the ultimate application of Occams razor i.e. strip out all non-essential parts of the human (leaving just the head) to achieve a good end result.

Before everyone rushes to congratulate Neil Hood on his close photo-finish with Lee, despite riding a part-faired Fujin, you should know that only Neil's helmet was racing, not the rest of him.

What is the secret of Neil H's turbo performance in Round 2? This is improvement that the rest of us mortals can only dream of!

The will of folks to carry on despite setbacks was impressive. From ominous rubbing noises, to offs on the hairpin, to sumps being knocked out of cars. Multiple chapeaus.

A promising start for the Kingcycle Wasp with young Liam on the pedals!!
The horrible noise you may well have heard (even if you were not actually at Darley Moor!) was an idler dropping down on the K-Drive (I think because of a weak spring). That resulted in the chain rubbing on the frame and slowed him down a bit...

Dave christened the machine "Shuttleworth Snap" while playing his ukulele in the little shelter on Saturday night, influenced by an overdose of Vitamin B-eer...
