Dear all,
I've ut my entry in to the ballot for the RideLondon Surrey 100. As per Alan's announcement at the AGM it appears that unfaired and part-faired recumbents are welcome this year. Any one else applying? |

From Kevin Nash:
Dear recumbent riders, The organisers of RideLondon are pleased to confirm that a trial for recumbent bicycles and recumbent tricycles will take place for a selected number of invited riders in the 2015 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 on Sunday 2 August. Preference will be given to riders with a disability. If would like to be considered for a place on the trial, please contact our entry team by email (recumbents@ridelondon.co.uk) by Friday 27 February 2015. Please let us know if you have entered the ballot for a place. The safety of all riders is a priority and therefore recumbent bicycles with full fairing (enclosed) are not permitted in the event due to the safety implications for both the rider and other participants in the event. Partial fairing (open) for frontal protection and rear boxes is permitted. The use of safety flags is strongly recommended to indicate the presence of a recumbent in large groups of cyclists. All recumbents are welcome to participate in Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle on Saturday 1 August. Visit www.PrudentialRideLondon.co.uk for more information. Kind regards, Kevin |
